What Type Of Doctor Workd With Burstist

Dublin (I)

For Easter we did a three-day trip to Dublin, in what we hope was only the first visit to Ireland. The weather was not very spring but at least it did not rain, which is already appreciated.

In Dublin you may be lacking a bit in attractive tourism compared to other European capitals. But makes up for in vitality. So if ... although the days were busy when we arrived on Friday night and took a tour of the center, almost all the bars were closed since Friday because no alcohol was sold (WTF? what does that matter?) , the output was short, also wanted to start early Saturday.

Ha'penny Bridge - The river Leffey is the main artery running through the heart of the city.

The next morning, the first visit was Dublin Castle. Little remains of the fortress medieval most of it was renovated during the eighteenth century. The guide explained that in general was always hated by quite a building to host the British occupation governments. Especially mentioned during the visit the prison and execution of leaders of the revolt for independence in the early twentieth century. After independence it was decided not to destroy it yet, today is an important part of the government buildings. Upon leaving, we passed the Chester Beaty Library, which was very close.

For lunch and during rest of the afternoon we went to the Guinness Brewery, an entire national symbol. The visitor center is mounted on a large old building no longer in use. If I am not mistaken was where previously prepared fermentation. Interactively shows the manufacturing process, functioning both as a museum, because the brand has existed since 1759. On top of the building is a bar from which there are views across the city. The tour includes a "learn to shoot properly Guinness, which willingly participated.

The real black gold: a visit to the Guinness

At night, the walk appellant was pacing around the Temple Bar area, very active, but also quite "touristy." Yet we find no problems a few cafes and bars without excessive crowds and where we find it soon gusto.Por Irish pubs are for me, "the" benchmark of what a bar should be. Especially now that there are smoke free.
