'm waiting for the day on which a film written and directed by Mike Leigh does not like me. I do not think that happens. Plans signed by him, a project that should see. It is the subtlety of his direction, the brightness of the dialogue and is special and most important of all human as a result. Another Year is simply a unique film, stamped Leight well recorded and carried proudly. In a very subtle and even some for five minutes nothing else, the film touches a number of sensitive issues and included in the routine.

The film revolves around an elderly couple, their friends and family. It shows the true happiness, true sadness, friendship, envy, love, etc ... Is an a # or the life of these elders, how they can change things for better or for worse! Something that I applaud in the film Leight is the lack of preparation, your time a film of him and not feel everything is perfect is their place, that this book is there because later you'll need to understand the next scene, or actors who spent 10 hours in makeup or just not them (credit to actors as well.) The performances are magnificent from Jim Broadbent who are talking about the cold season awards deserved much more recognition I think, to the surprise of Kanira Fernandez who gives a small # or paper but very well prepared. Among them are Ruth Sheen simply took all the good that I can say is interpreted as elegant and subtle, a great actress. Lesley Manville (for my high school) is great, steals every scene is perfect in every one of them, their role is more appealing from an acting point of view, due Oscar nomination even in high school, much better than Carter or even my Weaver (or Steinfeld). There is not much you can talk about this movie without ruining it for those who have not seen it, so just watch it, is a gem that deserves to be seen.
